Resignation Of Independent Non-Executive Director

The Board of Directors of Sino Techfibre Limited ("Company") wishes to announce that Mr Foo Der Rong ("Mr Foo") has resigned as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 30 September 2009.

Accordingly, Mr Foo shall also cease to be the Chairman of the Nominating Committee and Members of the Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee of the Company. Details of Mr Foo's resignation are contained in separate announcement made today.

Following the resignation of Mr Foo, the Company's Board of Directors are as follows:

Lam Tin Tsoh (Non-Executive Chairman)
Li Wenheng (Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer)
Li Changrui (Executive Director and Deputy Chief Executive Officer)
Lam Shui Ho (Executive Director)
Lee Wing Hang (Independent Non-Executive Director)
Tay Wee Kwang (Independent Non-Executive Director)

The Company will make further announcement regarding the appointment of Director to fill the vacancy in the Board committees in due course.

The Board is grateful to Mr Foo for his invaluable support and contribution to the Company.
